Domestic Flights

Vietnamese Airline Domestic Flight Information

Three airlines offer domestic flights in Vietnam: the national carrier Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific Airlines and Vietjet Air. Among these three companies, Jestar and Vietjet Air are the two low-cost companies.

As for the price of flights, they tend to increase during weekends, New Years, holidays or public holidays or even during school periods. Avoid buying your plane ticket during this period to get a better price. If you want to find an inexpensive flight to Vietnam, prefer a departure and return on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday which are the cheapest days to leave. Buying a return flight, in most cases, will be cheaper than a one-way flight purchased separately.

Be aware that with regard to domestic flights, delays or cancellations occur regularly for climatic or technical reasons.
