Day 1: Arrival - Saigon

Day 2: Saigon - Visits

Saigon, continue your day with a visit to the Reunification Palace which served as the Presidential Palace of South Vietnam before 1975. Visit to the central post office and the Saigon Cathedral.

Discovery of the Chinatown of Cholon with in particular the Binh Tay market which is full of life and where you can find absolutely everything you can imagine, all in a warm atmosphere. Finally, visit the Thien Hau pagoda, a guaranteed atmosphere with the incense cones burning on the ceiling and all the decorative elements typical of a pagoda dedicated to the goddess of the sea.

Day 3: Saigon - Cai Be

Departure at 8:00 am from your hotel.

10:30 am-11:00am: Arrival at Cai Be pier. Transfer by junk that takes us to a sumptuous traditional residence, former imperial residence, where the descendants of the Kiet family welcome you and invite you to taste tea accompanied by tasty samples of tropical fruits. We have the opportunity to walk through the garden littered with fruit trees. Direction towards the artisanal villages where products made from rice and coconut are made: rice alcohol, puffed rice cakes, rice paper, sweets made from coconut milk.

12h00: Embarkation on the boat "Le Cochinchine". Welcome with a welcome drink. Lunch on board as the boat heads to Co Chien. During the cruise, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the beautiful authentic landscapes that present themselves by the river.

In the afternoon, we go for a walk or bike ride on the trails through the villages. The walk allows us to discover green orchards and river activities, and especially to make contact with the local inhabitants.

The boat continues its navigation towards Tra On, while going up towards the top of the river. The aperitif is offered on the upper deck while enjoying a foot massage as the sun gradually sets over the river.

Participation in a cooking class on the boat. You will have the chance to try That Lat's Fish Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms dish and learn how to cut vegetables for decorating dishes.

Dinner and overnight on board to make the most of the beauty of the river at night.

Day 4: Tra On - Can Tho

Waking up early allows you to watch dawn on the Mekong River: the fresh air, the chirping of birds, the barge traffic, and the activities of the locals by the river.

Breakfast is served on board as the boat slowly sets off towards Cantho.

Along the water, the boat accompanies you to the Cai Rang market, one of the most important floating markets of the Mekong, teeming with boats loaded with fruits and vegetables, small boats that zigzag on the lively waters.

Boat trip along the creeks shaded by palm trees. You can contemplate magnificent orchards, local dwellings, shipyards and the hustle and bustle of river activity. Visit an orchard where you will find many kinds of tropical fruits such as: mango, dragon fruit, kumquat, jackfruit, milk apple, ...

Return and disembarkation of the boat at 11:00 am. End of the cruise.

Welcome by your guide in Can Tho. Visit of the Binh Thuy house where we shot the film Amant, a very beautiful old house typical of Can Tho.

Scooter tour to discover the small lost paths and the charm of the Can Tho countryside.

Day 5: Can Tho - Tra Su Forest - Chau Doc

Departure for the visit of the Tra Su reserve, the forest of cajeputiers of Tra Su, a particular vegetation of the Mekong. Boat trip to visit the forest.

Arrival in Chau Doc, visit of the floating village of the Cham. Visit the Ba Chua Xu temple at the foot of Mount Sam.

Day 6: Chau Doc - Boat to Phnom Penh

Transfer to Chau Doc pier for the boat to Cambodia.

Reception at the pier in Phnom Penh. Visit of Wat Phnom, the oldest monument in the city to which it gave its name, and whose stupa contains the ashes of King Pona Yat, the founder of the city.ille.

Discovery of the post office district, very characteristic of the colonial architecture of the time of the French protectorate. Visit of the Russian market.

Day 7: Phnom Penh - Siem Riep

Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for flight K6 107 at 12:00 to Siem Reap. Welcome to Siem Reap. City of the fabulous set of Angkor temples, the small town of Siem Reap constitutes the spiritual and cultural heart of Cambodia.

Visit of the great temple of Angkor Wat dating from the first half of the 12th century and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. This huge mountain temple, built by King Suryavarman II, is considered a masterpiece of Khmer art and architecture. Its founder, who reigned over Cambodia from 1113 to 1152, is twice represented in the bas-reliefs of the south gallery.

Day 8: Siem Reap

Visit of the ancient capital of Angkor Thom with the Bayon Temple, geometric center of Angkor Thom and mountain temple built by Buddhist king Jayavarman VII, the Baphuon, royal temple erected in the middle of the 10th century, the Terrace of the elephants , the terrace of the Leper King, so called because of a statue which represents a Judge of the Underworld with a demonic aspect.

Visit of the fascinating monastery of Ta Prohm, invaded by the jungle, whose name means "the Ancestor Brahmâ". Visit of Ta Keo, called "the Shrine of the Crystal Jewel", a Shivist temple dating from the end of the tenth century.

Visit of Thom Manon, a small 12th century temple. Visit of Chau Say and discovery of the sacred pond of Srah Srang.
